Patron Information Guide
Average April temperatures in Augusta range from highs around 80 degrees to lows around 50 degrees. Cool clothing, hats, and sunscreen are recommended on warm, sunny days.
The facilities at Augusta National include:

FACILITIES FOR THE PHYSICALLY IMPAIRED
Facilities for the physically impaired are provided. For the safety of all concerned, it is suggested that those using wheelchairs or similar transport use the hard surfaced roads and flat observation areas as much as possible. The grass is often damp and becomes very slippery on sloped areas. As a reminder, those accompanying a physically impaired individual must also have proper credentials.
PROHIBITED ITEMS LIST
Cell phones, beepers and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited on the grounds at all times. Cameras are strictly prohibited on Tournament days. Violation of these policies will subject the ticket holder to removal from the grounds and the ticket purchaser to the permanent loss of credentials.
List of Prohibited Items:
- Cell phones / PDAs
- Bags, backpacks, purses, packages*
- Beepers, electronic devices
- Weapons of any kind (regardless of permit)
- Alcoholic beverages
- Beverage containers / coolers
- Flags, banners, signs
- Folding armchairs, rigid chairs or stools
- Ladders, periscopes
- Radios, TVs, Tape recorders
*Personal bags, belt bags, purses no larger than 10"W x 10"H x 12"D are allowed.
**Cameras are allowed for personal use only on Practice Round days—Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
GENERAL SAFETY AND WEATHER WARNINGS
For your personal safety, we ask that you exercise due care at all times. Also, please be reminded that under wet conditions the grounds may become slippery; please take appropriate precautions.
Please observe all scoreboards/message boards for the WEATHER WARNING sign shown at right. This sign will appear in advance of inclement weather as information becomes available. When the sign appears, you are advised to take precautions even before play is suspended. Suspension of play will be signaled by the sounding of an air horn or similar alert. Seek shelter immediately upon hearing the alert. During periods of inclement weather, you should avoid the following:
- Bodies of water
- Golf carts
- Hilltops and high places
- Isolated trees
- Observation stands
- Open areas
- Wire fences
Appropriate clothing and shoes should be worn at all times. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
For everyone’s safety and protection, there will be a NO AUTOGRAPH POLICY enforced on the golf course for the practice and Tournament days. Autograph seeking is only allowed around the Practice Range and on the Par 3 course during the Par 3 Contest. It is expected that all parties (patrons, press, players, etc.) will comply.
Children of all ages must have a ticket to enter the grounds. On Tournament days only, a child between 8 and 16 years of age, accompanied by the patron of record (the person whose name is on the Patron List) may obtain a complementary ticket for that day. As a reminder this is limited to one child per day for the patron of record only.
No animals or pets are allowed onto the grounds except animals necessary and specially trained to assist or guide the physically impaired.
