The Burger Experience
"A Public House is traditionally the center of its community; a place to gather and enjoy a respite from the day. Here we converse, debate, and celebrate each other over a cold beer, a well-made drink or a generous glass of wine. We are devoted to delicious food, well-made drinks & enjoyable experiences. When you dine with us, we want you to arrive hungry and leave happy. Please join us". - Gina and Chef Linton Hopkins
The award-winning Holeman & Finch burger was created by Chef Linton Hopkins as a late-night special for service industry professionals. Our celebrated griddled double cheeseburger started in 2008 and quickly became part of Atlanta’s culinary dialog. A special only available at 10 p.m. feature each evening, with only 24 prepared nightly; a griddled double cheeseburger, topped with red onion and house-made pickles, served on a freshly baked pan de mie bun with from-scratch ketchup, and mustard on the side. The buns, sized with ideal bun-to-burger ratio in mind, are butter-toasted on the griddle for crispy golden edges. This burger is a direct descendant of the original that debuted at the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair. Forged in a time of industry and progress, that burger transformed the American food landscape forever, and we aim to do the same all over again
The Brew Tour
Wild Heaven Beer is a Georgia brewery founded by lifelong Georgians – Nick Purdy and Eric Johnson.
"Our core year-round portfolio is focused on world-class beers designed to offer something new to the beer landscape—not simply creating our version of what everyone else is doing. Our beers are designed in the great tradition of European brewing but with a distinctly American creative flair. Our all-grain, no adjunct-sugar philosophy creates bigger flavor without excess alcohol.Wild Heaven aims to be one of America’s great breweries as well as helping raise the profile of beer in the south. Our beers are available throughout Georgia."
It all began with a European road trip. The summer of 1994 found three friends rattling around the continent in an old Peugeot, affectionately dubbed “Hotel Le Car.” An improvised itinerary landed the trio unexpectedly in Belgium, on the night of Brussels’ Ommegang festival. It was here that Brian Purcell—today Three Taverns’ founder—first discovered the wonder of beer brewed by Trappist monks. It was in that moment a seed was planted, though it took many more years to take root.
Two subsequent moments of serendipity continued to tug at Brian’s heart. In the late ’90s, an unexpected stop at Decatur’s Brick Store Pub and a glass of Le Trappe beer stirred his dormant memories, reawakening the wonder that first surfaced in Brussels. Shortly after that experience, Brian would travel to Portland, Oregon for the wedding of another member of that road-trip trio.
Experiencing this friend’s home-brewed beer in the context of Portland’s legendary craft beer culture inspired the purchase of his first homebrew kit… which spent the next few years gathering dust.
It wasn’t until 2005, after Brian moved to a Decatur neighborhood within walking distance of his now-favorite pub, that the homebrew kit came off the shelf. With the first batch, Brian marveled that brewing satisfied something in his soul that he didn’t know was missing—and a love affair was born. This revelation became an obsession. Eventually the conviction that this hobby could be his vocation took root and strengthened. So after years of brewing and planning, a return trip to Belgium, and finally finding a perfect location, Three Taverns Craft Brewery was born. The first official beer was poured to a welcoming public on July 19, 2013.

Founded in 1898, the club outgrew its former home downtown and East Lake property. As the club’s membership gradually moved northwards, the Club moved with them during the late 1960s and early 1970s, to one magnificent location in Johns Creek. The club today is a vibrant hub of social and athletic activity for families and individuals. Our two championship golf courses, nine-hole par 3 course, 42-000 sq.-ft. athletic center, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, Olympic-sized pool, beautiful club rooms and dining facilities make up an incomparable social and recreational experience. Every year since 2009 an independent survey group has ranked the Atlanta Athletic Club in the top ten of country clubs in the United States. The Athletic Club has played host to a US Open, two PGA Championships, a Ryder Cup, and most recently the US Amateur Championship.
There will be two events going on at the same time. The first event will be a team competition where three guests and one tour player competes in a two best ball format (one net, one gross. The second event will be a special beer ball event that will be explained at the opening event.
