Golf Courses

During the trip, guests will be treated to rounds of golf at some of the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in the world. Some are even in the Open Championship rotation.

Royal St. George's Golf Club

One of the world’s great sporting events will return to the south east of England in 2020 when The 149th Open is played at Royal St George’s.The Open will return to the historic Kent links for the 15th time. It was last played at Royal St George’s in 2011 when Darren Clarke showed his mastery of links golf in challenging weather conditions to hold off Americans Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson to become Champion Golfer of the Year.

The club has a distinguished golfing history and is proud to have hosted amateur and professional tournaments since the 1880's. The club is one of England's finest links courses, and has played host to The Open Championship fourteen times.

Renaissance Club

The Renaissance Club was founded on respect for the traditions of the game. Tom Doak was hired to create a world-class course with regard to his renowned ability to move very little earth; showcasing the natural features of an incredible property such as Renaissance. The club is also home to a fantastic practice area.  At 400 yards long, stocked with Titleist Pro V1 balls and sheltered in the trees, our range gives you the opportunity to hone your game.

North Berwick Golf Club

Golf has been played over the historic West Links course since the 17th century with the Club being formed in 1832. We continue to play over the same piece of land as they did back then. With breathtaking views of the Firth of Forth and islands of Bass Rock, Craigleith, Lamb and Fidra, as well as the town of North Berwick itself, there are few places better in the world to play golf! A true championship links course, having hosted Final Qualifying for The Open Championship and both Gentlemen and Ladies Amateur Championships.  An excellent test of golf awaits you.

Muirfield - The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers

Muirfield is one of the oldest clubs in golf and its world famous course that has hosted major championships amateur and professional, international and national, men and ladies - all of which have produced worthy champions of whom more later. Eleven Amateur Championships have been played over the course and 16 Open Championships.

Muirfield is unique in that it requires players to play will be in Fourballs in the morning and Foursomes (Alternate shot) in the afternoon.

Visitors must have recognised handicaps of 18 or less and should bring with them certified handicap certificates as these may be required prior to play.

London

Tourist attractions and non touristy destinations will be explored.

London is one of the most popular destinations in the world because it has something for everyone from history, culture, and exciting events. London is as much about wide-open vistas and leafy landscape escapes as it is high-density, sight-packed urban exploration. Enjoying a lunch in one of the many parks in the summer, visiting the iconic sights, exploring the many neighborhoods to having a pint at a local pub. Every day can be an adventure.

The Open Championship

The 147th playing of The Open Championship will be held at Carnoustie Golf Links' Championship Course.

Since 1860, The Open has been played over some of the world’s most cherished links courses and has produced a remarkable legacy of great champions. It is the oldest and most international championship in professional golf and the Claret Jug - first presented in 1873 - is one of the most iconic trophies in all of sport.

From earlier greats such as Harry Vardon, Bobby Jones, Henry Cotton and Walter Hagen through modern legends such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Gary Player and Seve Ballesteros to exceptional talents of today Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy, the greatest players in the world have faced the unrelenting challenge of The Open for more than 150 years.

Golf has been played at Carnoustie since the early 16th century, and in that time the links have earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the toughest golf destinations in the world. It’s not just the strong winds which blow along this exposed stretch of the Angus coast; nor the bunkering, which is perfectly positioned to capture anything less than a top-quality shot; but it is also a very long, narrow golf course that, at 7,421 yards, is the longest of any of the Open venues. As Sir Michael Bonallack put it, “When the wind is blowing, it is the toughest golf course in Britain. And when it’s not blowing, it’s probably still the toughest.”
